About Annandale Wine Estate
Annandale is said to be the oldest farm in the premium red-wine-producing Helderberg Valley. In 1688, Simon van der Stel granted Jan Wismaar ownership of the farm “Annandale,” then known as Brakelsdal after its owner Herman van Brakel, a relative by marriage of Adam Tas.
